Independence day weekend - 2-4 July 2011
The fourth of July weekend was a busy one. First Azalia's birthday on Friday, which we had a lovely dinner at the Starlite. Then on Saturday we went to Alex's and watched some movies projected on the wall outside his house. Best part was the transportable bonfire pit. It was on wheels. We then lit off some sparklers and got some ok photo's. On the fourth of July we knew it would be a traffic nightmare so we decided to ride bikes to the beach. We had a lovely time at the beach and got to watch the fireworks. Immediately after the fireworks began the Ocean Beach annual marshmellow fight. This was so intense. So intense in fact that a figth broke out and our $1000 camera got smashed by a crazy chick. Oh well nobody was hurt and now I have a new camera. Happy 4th everyone!!!
Snokeling in Puerto Vallarta - 22-26 June 2011
Here are some of the photos from snorkeling at the Resort and at Las Caletas. The clearer ones are from Las Caletas. Seeing a sea snake up close was pretty terrifying. I read online that it's most likely an eel, but I'm pretty sure that's a snake. One of the best parts was being surrounded by a school of fish. We both got to be a part of about 3 to 4 thousand fish swimming in the same school. It's was the highlight of all the snorkeling we did.
