Indiana - 7-9 September 2011
We got to spend a few days in Indianapolis & South Bend which was pretty fun. I finally got to meet a lot of people which i have only heard stories about and each one was just as awesome as the next. Indianapolis was a little to quite for me but really cute. I got to spend my 27th bday in Broad Ripple bar hopping down the main street, which ended with hangover the next day. Its true, the older you get the harder it is to recover.. hehe! After our day of recovery we took the road to Chicago. We got to stop along the way to admire the hundred if not thousands of wind turbines which were everywhere. They are huge and make the creepiest noise when spinning which still pops in my head every now and then.
Chicago - 5 & 6 September 2011
Day 1
Our visit in Chicago was short & sweet, but we did the most we could in the 2 days and we had. We started of by just walking down the streets of downtown Chicago and admiring the awesome sky scrapers surrounding us everywhere. When our feet started hurting we stopped at the Hancock building for a drink with a view. After that we walked over to Millennium Park where we had a lot of fun with the mirror bean. We ended our night of at Giordanos for a Chicago style pizza. And may i say pizza will never be the same.
