St. Augustine, Florida

- 31 December 2011 -
We heard that the fountain of youth was somewhere in St. Augustine, FL.  Granted that it is the oldest city in the united states, we figured we would seek it out.  First thing we found was an old Spanish fort.  We took some photos, but didn't go inside due to the fact that we saw way better forts in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico.  We continued to walk around and take in the old Spanish Architecture and since this was new years eve, we decided to have a few drinks.  This was a fairly short trip, but it was a good one.  We will have to go back when we have more time to explore.

Savannah, Georgia

- 30 December 2011 -
After a two hour drive up from Kingsland, GA we arrived in Savannah, GA.  Immediately we looked for Paula Deen's restaurant.   Wow, it was worth the wait and amazing in every way.  We then hit the embarcadaro to check out the arciterture.  It was really cool seeing buildings that old.  We somehow acquired a map and then caught a free ferry around the river.  Once back ashore we headed to check out all the lovely parks that Savannah had to offer.  Such a nice city.  Highly recommended.

Okefenokee Swamp

- 29 December 2011 -
Professor Jacob from Purdue University warned the students in at least three classes I had him in to avoid the Okefenokee Swamp at all cost.  Granted he is one of the smartest men I've ever met I decided to heed the warning.  It started out on fire and ended up with a boat ride through a gator filled river.  This was no zoo mind you.  They can chase you into the parking lot if they want.

St. Patty's Day 2012

- 17 March 2012 -
Usually I have a better description but, this was good ole St. Patty's Day. Here's what I recall: Waterfront to Underbelly to Monkey Paw. The party then ended back up on our baloney. Not sure who or how, but word that Mclovin's band was playing at ruby room rang out. Spencer manned up and grabbed the Sprinter and taxied the mob out to see it. Next thing I knew I was kicked out and we went home. This ended up in old school mob mentality of messing with the passed out guy. That guy being Hellman. I checked my account on Monday and I was out over $300 and I'm sure Hellman was out 5 times that. Either way sorry and thanks Hellman you truly are one of God's own prototypes. "To weird to live and to rare to die". I'll be seeing you sooner than I need to. I left out the part about midget strippers on purpose, but we all know what happened. Cheers all, Hope your st. patty's was as good as ours.

Desert Adventures Part 2 - Goodyear, AZ

9-11 March 2012 -
After a heavy night on the town we woke up for our next adventure. 4x4 trailblazing with a bit of rock climbing. Our path got deterred a bit because the path turned into a shooting range, but we managed to do some crabbing and rock crawling. Mike decided to go all out for the finale and broke his drive shaft and ole bootsy towed us out. What a hell of a weekend.

Desert Adventure - Goodyear, AZ

- 9-11 March 2012 -
It started out innocent enough, guns, beers, and old friends.  But it ended up with trespassing and drunk in public.  Luckily the 5 police cars that showed up understood our curiosity in venturing into the abandoned Trotting park in Goodyear, AZ.  Thanks for not taking us to jail Goodyear PD.  We'll be back next year to try again.  We'll see you then.  Cheers.
